Implementing the Use of Employer/Healthcare Purchaser Mental Health Parity Compliance Information and NQTL Audit Tools

The webinar will provide an update on the status of DOL parity enforcement, a brief description of the National Alliance recommended Non-Quantitative (NQTL) Audit Tools, and a review of experiences coalitions and employers are having in the use of such audit tools. This webinar will include a summary of the DOL May 2025 statement regarding its continued parity enforcement for all regulations prior to the 2024 Final Rule, as well as a description of continued enforcement of a large employer settlement agreement with DOL based on network inadequacies published in January 2025. The webinar will also present the types of outcomes data that the audit tools can be expected to generate. A key goal of this webinar is to explore how many employers have provided the audit tools to their TPA or mental health service provider, and what responses are being obtained. We will invite coalitions and employers attending the webinar to share what obstacles and successes they are having during the webinar and in a follow up survey.
