Employer Learning Modules in Oncology

As purchasers assess how to best address the impact of cancer care for their workforce, they are increasingly looking to impact how care is delivered across the entire cancer patient experience. To support education and resources for coalitions and their members across the country, the National Alliance developed a series of learning modules to support the cancer patient journey from prevention and preliminary diagnosis to survivorship and back to work. The main goals of this project were to:

• Support coalitions in conducting an educational series for employers focused on opportunities for achieving greater value in cancer care.
• Provide a forum for employers to review and enhance their current cancer care strategy and to share information.
