Health Policy in Transit – March 2021 Edition

On March 11, 2021 President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package. While health care was not a major focus of the bill, there are several health care-related provisions included in the legislation, including funding for COVID-19 testing and vaccines, expanded COBRA eligibility and coverage, and enhanced financial assistance (i.e. premium tax credits) for Marketplace coverage.
