WASHINGTON – July 14, 2021 – The National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions announced its slate of new officers for the Board of Governors. Officers are elected by their board peers based on proven leadership and commitment to the National Alliance, as well as their efforts to advance and strengthen value-based purchasing strategies.
Bob McCollins, Managing Director, Employers’ Advanced Cooperative on Healthcare, and Chris Syverson, Chief Executive Officer, Nevada Business Group on Health, are coalition leaders newly elected to the Board. Wayne Rawlins, MD, Chief Medical Officers for WellSpark Health, and an active member of the National Alliance Medical Director Advisory Council, was elected to serve as an External Board Member.

- Nancy Giunto, Executive Director, Washington Health Alliance
- Peter Hayes, President and CEO, Healthcare Purchaser Alliance of Maine
- Gloria Sachdev, Executive Director, Employers’ Forum of Indiana
- Chris Skisak, Executive Director, Houston Business on Health
- Karen van Caulil, President and CEO, Florida Alliance for Healthcare Value
Three external members continue to serve their terms on the Board:
- Lauren Block, Program Director, National Governors Association
- Leah Binder, President and CEO, The Leapfrog Group
- Christa-Marie Singleton, MD, Senior Medical Advisor, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
